Storage for stamps

I thought i would share with all you Maggie lovers how i store my stamps.
I have been told that these are no longer available in some countries, but sure you could get them at a garage sale or a junk shop while scrounging around looking for bargains as i am sure all crafty people look for things in the wierdest of places and its in the weird places that we find the best treasures.
I get my cd cases from the local hospice that sells second hand treasures, i love going in there to see what new things they have waiting for new owners, my kids call it garbage hunting, instead of bargain hunting, ha ha.  They hate going with me, but its literrally across the road from school so thats when i pop in, when i get them from school.  They say it smells funny, i never noticed, must be something youngsters smell.
Well i wash out all the cd cases, take off any stickers etc, print names of my newest stamps on the pc, cut into strips and adhere to the spine of the cd case and then stamp an image into my flip file with their name next to them.  I then also manage to find these optometrist drawers at the garbage shop and they are perfect for all my stamps.
Hope someone will find this useful

My new header

Have you noticed that i have a new header?  I spent the best part of yesterday masking and stamping all these images, then colored them with my copics.

Now since i just started this blog to highlight and showcase my passion for Magnolia stamps i thought i gotta have some kinda FAB header.  However since i am way techno challenged, i had no idea how i was gonna get this right.  Well good news, i have a friend, Shaz Keanly who is not techno challenged and she played around and managed to put this onto my blog as a header!! thanks my friend this technology sometimes just does my head in.
Whatcha think?
MARVELLOUS!!!

The Pixie cottage dt

Hi Maggie lovers, you will be so excited to know that there are a new range of stamps released from Artish at the Pixie Cottage that are a perfect accompaniment to all your beautiful Tilda's that you can bye at Magnolialicious store.
For this weeks dt card for the challenge on the Pixie Cottage challenge blog i used one of the newest release backgrounds and Tilda shopping.
I added the buttons and bows to the side of my card, keeping the rest of my card pretty simple.  I loved this color scheme!
I have cut Tilda out and popped her on a bit of foam so she looks like she has just left the shops and have paper pieced a few of the elements from both the digi background and the stamped image.
have a great crafting week
